Teaching academics through dance…

The purpose of this program is to focus on the nature of human expression by way of the art of dance. Dance universally expresses social, historical, cultural and familial contexts, traditional dance naturally reveal insights into the people who made them; and studies show that there is a correlation between art and other achievement(s). Furthermore, young people who participate regularly in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement. Therefore, the “Classics” dance program was designed to help harness a child drive to belong, and aspire to be great. For ages: 7-18.
